- After your roof is complete and the grounds are clean, the roofing contractor will submit an invoice to us and schedule a post-installation inspection.
- We will do a detailed examination of your roof system, grounds and gutters.
- If there are any issues or concerns, we will instruct the contractor to resolve these issues before we submit his final invoice for your payment.
The roofing contractor will never solicit payment directly from you at any time during the process. Any additional work performed outside the scope of work in the contract will be handled according to the terms of the agreement. That additional work will be billed as a supplemental invoice presented with the final invoice.
- We will submit your final payment to the contractor and our office will process your lien release documents and any applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
- If there are any challenges in the future with the performance of your roof, you can call us. While the responsibility for your roof’s performance lies with your roofing contractor, we are happy to again be your liaison should the need arise. Your contract will specify that the contractor provide a 10-year installation guarantee and, in the unlikely event of a performance issue with your roof, we will take every step to ensure that the contractor responds in a timely manner and resolves the issue to your satisfaction.
